Check out my new ad for Silverfox!
Well everyone, 2012 is off to a great start. I know we are three months in already but I am really excited how this year is going and is going to be! Let me elaborate a little.
As most of you who keep up with my updates know, I have been on the road for the last 6 weeks with Danish rockers "Volbeat" as part of Gigantour, which is a tour that Megadeth started years ago and all the bands are hand picked by Dave Mustaine himself. We traveled all over the U.S. and Canada with Megadeth, Motorhead and Lacuna Coil and boy was it a blast! I have a bunch of video for you to see on my Youtube channel and I know that if you search Gigantour 2012 you will find plenty of performances and behind the scenes stuff on there.
This brings me to my next announcement, because things went well with Volbeat, I have been asked to stay on as Jon Larsens Drumtech. It is a great opportunity for me and I could not pass this up. If you haven't yet heard of Volbeat don't worry, you will, they are blowing up all over the world and in the next year, everyone is gonna know who they are.
So, because I am going to stay on with Volbeat, my time will be limited for other gigs. I have been in an amazing rock group from San Diego (Fuzz Huzzi) for the past two years, we have toured the U.S. together and released a new cd titled Revival which was kick ass! Unfortunately because of my new venture I will be parting ways with the Fuzz. We all remain good friends and ya never know, you might see me back for some shows in the future. For now though, this is what I have to do and I would like to thank the guys in Fuzz Huzzi for their support and for two amazing years of ROCK! They will be touring extensively this year so be sure to go out and see them if they are in your area.
Over the next bunch of months, Volbeat will be touring the U.S. performing at various festivals and venues so I hope to see you all out there at the shows! All the info for the performances will be posted here on my site or you can go to Volbeats website and keep up with us as well.
Thanks everyone for always checking in and supporting my habit, that is, music.
Much Love,
PSA
