Pete wanted a brief bio so I will give it to you now rather than waste a bunch of pages on this site with stuff no one cares about!
Pete did not go to Berklee or any other fancy music school, nor did he go to the "School of Hard Knocks". He began drumming at age 12 with the support of his family and friends, and knew from then on that this was what he wanted to do for the rest of his life.
His first job at age 15 was at a local music store. In high school, he joined the marching band and took private lessons. He spent countless hours practicing and studying the best - John Bonham, Kenny Aronoff, Stewart Copeland, Tommy Lee - he couldn't get enough.
When he graduated from high school, he knew 4 years of higher learning was not for him. Instead, he dove head first into the "real world" and made a name for himself. In the 20 years since 1988, he has recorded over 30 albums, played 200+ shows a year, toured the US with over 50 bands (playing 40 out of 50 states), been a drum instructor for 13 years, and performed for thousands of people. He also knows his way around a recording studio, both as an engineer and a session drummer.
"Professional" would be an understatement in describing Pete. He is more than that - he has a passion that can't be learned, and he brings both the passion and the professionalism to everything he does.
If you are looking to hire Pete for a session please check out the Albums page to listen to artists he has recorded with already! Enjoy!
