-13 Years Drum Instruction one on one ½ hour lessons at WMEC in
Massachusetts
I have had the opportunity to work with hundreds of students of all ages ,
some who have gone on to music colleges, national tours , becoming drum
instructors etc.
Along the way I have created certain workshops for WMEC to help teach
what I consider the most important aspects and most usefull/practical
aspects of drumming.

-Rock Band Workshops for WMEC
In this workshop for the past 4 yearsI have taught students to perform
together in a band situation and record  songs to a CD for them to take home
and then book them a show to perform the songs in front of a live audience.

-Drum Recording Workshops for WMEC
Drum Recording Workshop 1- In this One on one, 1 hour session, students
learn to use digital software to record drums, including Miking techniques ,
tuning, drum and cymbal selection etc. This course has 6 1 hour sessions.

Drum Recording Workshop 2 (NEW 2008)- This Workshop is a continuation
of the 2007 Workshop 1. This is a group class with 3 days of training to be a
studio drummer, from drum prep to microphone placement, playing with
click tracks and all the things to expect when you record. On the 4th and 5th
day the students work in a local recording studio performing and mixing
their own tracks.

-Live Band Performance Workshops for WMEC
I came up with this idea when I was leaving for tour with the Tiffany Shea
Band from Dallas TX in 2004. Students learn a selection from a local artists
cd and perform it live at a club with that artist. The first year, all the kids got
to perform with Tiffany at the first show of the tour. It was such a success I
have done it every year since with different acts I have been a part of.
